While our roots are in acting, our work extends far beyond the stage and screen. We use the methodology of performance to help people communicate with confidence, build original creative work and develop meaningful pathways into the creative industries.

Entertaining and mentoring others is where my purpose comes together. Red Lens wasn't simply founded...it was born from that purpose.
Shireenah Ingram is an award-winning actress, presenter, Creative Director of Red Lens and Board Member at Birmingham Royal Ballet.
Originally from Birmingham, she has spent over a decade working across theatre, television, film and commercial productions, collaborating with organisations including the BBC, the Royal Shakespeare Company, BFI, ScreenSkills and leading global brands. Alongside her performing career, she launched her interview series in 2019, creating conversations that celebrate the journeys of creatives and industry professionals.
In 2021, Shireenah founded Red Lens, built on one simple belief:
Performance isn't about pretending to be someone else; it's about becoming more fully yourself.
Through acting methodologies, storytelling and rehearsal, Red Lens develops people, stories and opportunities, helping actors, professionals and young people build confidence, communication and self-trust. Whether working with performers preparing for the industry, leaders developing their presence, or organisations investing in their people, Shireenah's approach centres on one philosophy:
Acting doesn't make me confident. Growth happens in rehearsal.
Alongside leading Red Lens, Shireenah taight Acting at BOA Stage & Screen Production Academy and continues to work across the creative industries as an actor, presenter, mentor and producer.
